COMPARISON OF TESTS ON AN INSULATED CONTAINER AT DIFFERENT EUROPEAN ATP TEST STATIONS.

Author(s) : STERA A. C.

Summary

THIS PROJECT ORIGINATED FROM THE FACT THAT VARIOUS INTERPRETATIONS BY THE TESTING STATIONS OF SOME OF THE 1970 ATP AGREEMENT REQUIREMENTS RESULTED IN COMPLETELY DIFFERENT K-COEFFICIENTS FOR THE SAME VEHICLE. AN ISO-20 FOOT MARINE INSULATED CONTAINER, FULLY AGED BUT INGOOD CONDITION, AND MOUNTED ON A SKELETAL TRAILER, WAS DELIVERED SEQUENTIALLY TO ELEVEN ATP TEST STATIONS, ONE IN EACH COUNTRY, AT WEEKLY INTERVALS. MEASUREMENTS WERE DONE. THE PAPER COMPARES THE RESULTS OBTAINED AND EVALUATES THE ACCURACY OF THE MEASUREMENTS.
