COMPARISON OF WEATHER DATA OF DIFFERENT TIME RESOLUTION AS APPLIED TO A SIMULATION OF AN INDOOR SWIMMING POOL.

Summary

THE HEATING LOADS OF AN INDOOR SWIMMING POOL AND THE ENERGETIC ADVANTAGES OF A SOLAR HEATING SYSTEM FOR WATER WERE CALCULATED FROM WEATHER DATA AND DIFFERENT TIME RESOLUTION. OVERALL HEATING LOADS RESULT FROM THE HEATING OF AIR AND VENTILATION (WINTER MONTHS) AND THE HEATING OF WATER. THE OPTIONS FOR SAVING ENERGY ARE DOUBLE GLAZING AND A POOL COVER AT NIGHT. THE COMPARISON OF THE DIFFERENT SIMULATIONS GIVES A GOOD IDEA OF THE RELIABILITY OF SIMPLIFIED SIMULATION MODELS.
