Summary

EACH ONE OF THE PAIRS ZEOLITE 13 X-WATER AND ACTIVATED CHARCOAL-METHANOL CAN BE USED. THE PRINCIPLE OF ADSORPTION CYCLES AND THEIR COMPUTER CALCULATIONS ARE PRESENTED. COMPUTER SIMULATIONS FOR SOLAR REFRIGERATING MACHINES, WITH FLAT PLATE COLLECTORS ARE PRESENTED. IT IS SHOWN THAT ACTIVATED CHARCOAL-METHANOL PAIR HAS A BETTER EFFICIENCY SPECIALLY WHEN THE COOLING OF THE CHARCOAL IN THE COLLECTORS DURING THE NIGHT IS EFFICIENT. A CONCENTRATING COLLECTOR WOULD IMPROVE MUCH MORE THE EFFICIENCY OF A MACHINE WITH ZEOLITE-WATER.
