Summary
The non-metallic materials examined in the study include a variety of different elastomers and plastics commonly used. Specific materials tested include silicone rubbers, Neoprene, Viton, Buna N., EPDM, HNBR, natural rubber and "Mylar" in combination with pentane or a R290/R600a blend with either mineral or polyolester oils.
