Summary
The article considers the HEAPR mathematical model and application package. HEAPR enables problems to be solved in the investigation of processes, design and prediction of refrigerator operation with heat exchangers such as evaporators, condensers, regenerators and coolers. The model takes into account the influence of pressure losses in heat exchangers on the thermodynamic cycle parameters. Examples of the model's use in analysing a refrigerator cycle are given, with the design of heat exchanger optimization calculations, as well as determining the operating characteristics of refrigerators in off-design operating conditions.
