DESCRIPTION OF AN ANALYTICAL EXPRESSION FOR THE CALCULATION OF HEAT PUMP COP. A COMPARISON OF THE RESULTS OF THE CALCULATION IS PROPOSED BASED ON THE METHOD USING THERMAL BALANCES AND BASED ON THE PROPOSED FORMULA. THE FORMULA OBTAINED TAKES INTO ACCOUNT THE PROPERTIES OF THE WORKING FLUIDS AND CAN BE USED FOR THE STUDY AND THE OPTIMIZATION OF HEAT PUMPS AND ALSO FOR THE MATHEMATICAL SIMULATION OF PLANT.
