Summary
Immiscible alkylbenzene is currently used for household refrigerators with R134a. The applicability of immiscible alkylbenzene was also studied for new air conditioners with R407C and R410A. With regard to the antiwear property in rotary compressors, even alkylbenzene with much lower viscosity compared with the current refrigeration tube performed satisfactorily. Good oil return properties were observed with both R407C and R410A.
