COMPUTING TECHNICAL SIMULATION OF LARGE ABSORPTION HEAT PUMPS.

Summary

A COMPUTER PROGRAM FOR THE SIMULATION OF ABSORPTION HEAT PUMPS SHOWS THEIR THEORETICAL OPERATING BEHAVIOUR ACCORDING TO DIFFERENT VARYING FACTORS. AS KNOWN COMPUTATION PROCESSES ARE SOMETIMES INCOMPLETE, THE SO-CALLED < STASAN > SYSTEM MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO RELATE UNIT MODELS TO AN INSTALLATION PROGRAM AND TO CALCULATE THE DIFFERENT CONTROL SCENARIOS, EG SERIES OR PARALLEL ASSEMBLY OF WATER SIDE UNITS. THE PROGRAM FOR A SINGLE-STAGE NH3 -H2 O ABSORPTION HEAT PUMP IS DESCRIBED. THE COOLING AGENT IS WATER OR A BRINE. SOME CALCULATION RESULTS ARE GIVEN.
