Summary
To investigate the condensation process in a wall composed of porous materials under randomly changing outdoor temperatures, a method is proposed to calculate the probability density of moisture contents. A wall made of autoclaved, low density concrete is analysed, and the probability density of the moisture content is obtained. This simple example clarifies the influence of random outdoor temperature on the condensation process.
