Summary
The unit presented is meant for the cooling of a mixture of hydrogen and hydrocarbons. It is composed mainly of a turbocompressor, an evaporator and a condenser operating in a 2-stage cycle with a refrigerating capacity of 1.8 megawatt, an evaporating temperature of -30 deg C, a condensing temperature of 45 deg C and a water consumption rate of 250 m3/h (t= 10 deg C).
