Summary

IN A COUNTRY LIKE THE SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM, WITHOUT ANY EXTENSIVE ELECTRICITY SUPPLY, A DECENTRALIZED ENERGY SUPPLY IS OF MAJOR IMPORTANCE. SOLAR COLD STORAGE TO REDUCE FOODSTUFF SPOILAGE HAS BEEN FOUND TO PARTIALLY COMPENSATE FOR THE LACK OF ELECTRIC ENERGY. BASED ON THE CLIMACT VIETNAM, THE INVESTIGATION CONCENTRATES ON THE CHANGE IN COOLING LOAD BY A COLLECTOR-EQUIPPED ROOF OF A COLD STORE. REFERENCE IS ALSO MADE TO THE CALCULATION MODEL FOR THE TRANSMISSION LOAD OF A COLLECTOR-EQUIPPED BACK-VENTILATED COLD ROOF.
