Summary
A study was done to characterize the different regimes and their boundaries as a function of classical criteria like mass flow rate and the gas strength. The study was done for mass flow rates lower than 1 g/s and in a tube having a diameter of less than 10 mm. The flows were characterized to good effect, using non-intrusive fiber optics developed by the authors.
