THE AUTHOR GIVES CALCULATION EXAMPLES FOR THE DISTRIBUTION OF CONTAMINANT CONCENTRATIONS IN INDUSTRIAL ROOMS. CONCENTRATION DISTRIBUTION IS DETERMINED BY FLOW, TURBULENCE AND MASS TRANSFER EQUATIONS. HE SHOWS THE WAY TO HOMOGENISE CONCENTRATIONS IN ROOMS WITH STRONG INTERNAL RECIRCULATION BY A SMALL AIR INLET AND HOW TO PROVIDE A HOMOGENEOUS DISTRIBUTION BY LOCATING CONTAMINATING SOURCES IN THE AREAS WHERE AIR VELOCITY IS HIGH.
