Summary

The State of Victoria has the usual ordinances regarding the containment of Legionellosis in cooling towers. A spot check was made in the centre of Melbourne, using 4 teams of inspectors, to verify the extent to which tower users comply with these regulations. Results, which are tabulated, were satisfactory. There are some criticisms and some suggestions regarding the conduct of future spot checks. A.R.T.
