Summary

The variation of flow pattern and temperature profile according to Reynolds number and Prandtl number were presented by solving numerically the Navier-Stokes equations with energy equation under the condition that the fluid properties were independent of temperature. Average heat transfer coefficient and friction factor were also calculated and compared with the experimental data regarding aqueous solutions of corn syrup.
