Summary
This survey involved 13 manufacturers, 13 engineering and design departments and 14 refrigeration contractors, as well as visits to 25 plants. The first plants surveyed were built in 1980; in 1994, about 50,000 m2 of cooling floors were in use; in 1995, 4500 new individual homes were equipped with air-conditioning or cooling systems and 2700 of these homes had heating/cooling floors.
