Cooling of electronic components with closed loop two-phase thermosiphons. Engineering licentiate thesis.
Author(s) : TENGBLAD N.
Type of monograph: Doctoral thesis
Summary
This thesis is a theoretical and experimental study of the heat transfer and fluid flow inside closed loop two-phase thermosiphons, designed to cool individual electronic components. It concerns three major aspects of such systems: thermosiphon design and performance characteristics; fluid flow modelling; and boiling and condensation heat transfer characteristics in narrow channels.
