Copper in ammonia refrigerating plants.
Kupferwerkstoffe in Ammoniakkälteanlagen.
Author(s) : LIPPOLD H.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Wide-ranging tests showed that copper can be used in dry-expansion ammonia plants. Especially promising are the alloys copper-nickel and copper-tin, along with copper itself. Unlike PAG oils, conventional mineral oils contain little moisture, making possible a greater inhibitive effect.
