Cost-effectiveness and commercial potential of hydrogen in energy technology.
Wirtschaftlichkeit und Markteinführung von Wasserstoff in die Energietechnik.
Author(s) : WEINMANN O.
Summary
A future hydrogen-based energy system will require clean sources of hydrogen that can be linked to the end-user. Hydrogen will mainly serve as a chemical supplement to electricity. Developments in the near term will be limited to prototypes with possible commercial applications. Economic implications are as important as technical ones. Hydrogen must be efficient, clean, user-friendly and cost-effective.
