The use of oxygen in CO2 efficient power generation.
Author(s) : ALLAM R. J., HIGGINBOTHAM P., WHITE V.
Summary
The objective of CO2 free power and H2 production for vehicle fuel in the future will certainly require the use of fossil fuel combustion with pure oxygen in processes allowing efficient CO2 removal for sequestration. These processes will need very large cryogenic oxygen production facilities. The characteristics and design requirements of the plants are presented, and issues such as system integration are discussed.
