Cryogenic condensation-sorption pumps with advanced coefficient of capture by H2 and He.

Summary

The paper presents a cryogenic condensation-sorption pump, which has an original design with advanced coefficients of capture for H2 1.8 and for He 3.4 times higher than in the existing cryopumps. The operating speed of this pump is 8 m3/s for N2, 22 m3/s for H2 and 12 m3/s for He. The pump is made of Ti and Al. The cryopump described in the paper can be successfully used for pumping from physical chambers or installations: thermonuclear synthesis, implantation, thermovacuum tests, etc. as well as there, where are the specific requirements for vacuum.
