Summary
The authors developed an optimal encapsulation-dehydration procedure for Arachis pintoi apical meristems. The procedure involved dissection, preculture of explants on establishment medium, encapsulation in calcium alginate beads, pretreatment in liquid establishment medium with rising sucrose concentration then desiccation.
