Summary
A simple cryopreservation method is described for meristems of in vitro plantlets of Olea europaea L. var. Arbequina. It involves subjecting apical shoot tips to sucrose preculture, dehydration under sterile air flow, freezing in liquid nitrogen and thawing at room temperature.
