Cryopreservation of isolated trout hepatocytes: viability and function in primary culture.

Summary
The results show that the activities of cryopreserved hepatocyte (CP) cells was lower than in fresh cultures, but remained constant over 72 hours of culture (approx. 70%). The CP cultures retain the aspects of of liver-specific function.
