Summary
Because of the successful use of hepatocytes for curing many affections, it is important that cryopreservation does not affect their protein synthetic capability. The paper describes a cryopreservation process leading to this result by providing in particular the regeneration of monolayer cultures of cryopreserved hepatocytes for 48 hours before use.
