TRACHEAL EXPLANTS PREPARED FROM NEWBORN CHICK, YOUNG HAMSTER AND HUMAN FOETUS WERE STORED AT DIFFERENT LOW TEMPERATURES. THE OPTIMAL CONDITIONS FOR STORAGE HAVE BEEN EVALUATED, BASED ON THE CILIARY ACTIVITY AND THEIR ABILITY TO SUPPORT MULTIPLICATION OF VIRUSES.
