ORGAN CULTURE OF FROZEN-THAWED CADAVER SKIN DEMONSTRATED RECOVERY OF ELEMENTARY AND SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS OF THE TISSUE FROM FREEZING TO 77 K (-196 DEG C) AT A RATE OF 23 TO 25 K/MIN WITH 15% PEO-400 (POLYETHYLENE OXIDE 400). NECROTIC EPIDERMIS BEING REJECTED, EPITHELIZATION OF LESIONS OCCURRED MOSTLY AT THE EXPENSE OF BASAL EPIDERMOCYTES FROM SKIN DERIVATIVES.
