Type of article: Article
Summary
The project has achieved COP larger than 8 for the electric-driven, high performance heat pump of the heating type with an output temperature of 85 deg C. With another high performance type, COP of 7 was attained for cooling and COP of 6 for heating, under conditions meeting Japanese industrial standards. For evaluation of the combined system, daily averaged total energy efficiency was newly defined and utilized in actual proof tests. Daily averaged total energy efficiency of 6.1 was realized, and the possibility of the higher temperature cooling water supply was also obtained in the author's experimental conditions.
