Cutting out the cooling.
Author(s) : BORDASS B., GODOY R., WILLIS S.
Type of article: Article
Summary
General views of heat balance reduction in buildings to decrease the air conditioning plant capacity, are presented. The lighting system is to be carefully examined. Ventilation and thermal storage should permit storage of cold within the building structure, when outside temperature permits, especially at night. Finally, factors influencing comfort of the occupants, although not measurable, must be considered, for instance a reachable opening window.
