Daily global solar radiation over tilted surfaces for Amman - Jordan.

Author(s) : ALSAAD M. A.

Summary

Daily global solar radiation incident on sloped surfaces of various tilt angles and orientations are estimated using Garnier and Ohmura method. The calcultated values of the monthly mean daily solar radiation over tilted surfaces are correlated to empirical formulas for south, east and west oriented surfaces having tilt angles of 15, 30 and 45 deg C. Empirical correlations for the monthly mean daily solar radiation incident over vertical walls having various orientations are also found due to its importance in cooling load calculations.
