DERIVED THERMODYNAMIC DESIGN DATA FOR HEAT PUMP SYSTEMS OPERATING ON R11.

Author(s) : ZYLLA R.

Type of article: Article

Summary

CALCULATED VALUES OF THE THEORETICAL COP AND THE COMPRESSION RATIO ARE GIVEN FOR R11 FOR TEMPERATURE LIFTS IN 5 K (5 DEG C) INCREMENTS AND CONDENSING TEMPERATURES FOR EVERY DEGREE IN THE RANGE 288-448K (15-175 DEG C). SEVERAL GRAPHS ARE GIVEN TO ILLUSTRATE THE FEASIBLE OPERATING RANGE FOR R11 HEAT PUMP SYSTEMS. THE DERIVED THERMODYNAMIC DATA CAN BE USED FOR THE RAPID PRELIMINARY DESIGN OF R11 HEAT PUMP SYSTEMS.
