Summary
For the independent tank systems, a prismatic tank system or a spherical tank system is generally adopted. In parallel with these systems, a new cylindrical tank system for a 75,000 m3 LPG carrier is described. Its strength is estimated under stress, buckling and fatigue. Thermal analysis is also performed.
