Summary

Problems encountered in the maintenance operations involving approximately 14,000 gas-engine heat pumps installed in Tokyo include many that could be instructive when gas engines are to be used as air conditioners. As a result of analyzing these cases, the causes have been clarified and countermeasures have been established.
