Desirable thermophysical properties of fluids in low-temperature Clausius-Rankine cycle.

Summary

The research paper presents the results of calculations of efficiency for low-temperature Rankine cycle powered by waste/geothermal energy which temperature at below 120 °C. Concise review of literature has been performed in relation to the desired features of working medium in the direct thermodynamic cycle in comparison with the desired features of the medium in the refrigerating cycle. Thermodynamic analysis is presented for the low-temperature Rankine cycle. Efficiency and power of the cycle were accepted as evaluation criteria.
