Thermodynamic cycles.
Author(s) : MCMULLAN J. T.
Summary
The principal thermodynamic cycles of interest to the refrigeration industry are discussed. Attention is paid to the departures of real cycles from ideal and the influence of factors such as the presence of lubricants and the part played by flash gas. A discussion is included of the possible future role of wideboiling refrigerant mixtures in industrial heat recovery applications.
