Summary
Tests confirmed not only that a very small number of propagules is enough to cause lesions, but also that lesions have a role in promoting attacks on carrots by C. elegans and T. thielavioides when the vegetables are in a favourable environment (high relative humidity and temperature of about 20 °C).
