Summary
The industrial refrigeration sector is directly impacted by the phase-out of specific refrigerants and more generally by the carbon footprint reduction policies. Industrials are therefore looking for potential alternatives in particular for temperatures below -50°C. The study carried out by Mayekawa indicates that air systems are efficient especially for low temperatures.
