Summary

A METHOD FOR THE CALCULATION OF THE COP FOR ANY ABSORPTION CYCLE IS DESCRIBED, WHICH WASUSED FOR THE EVALUATION OF DIFFERENT ADVANCED ABSORPTION CYCLES WORKING BETWEEN 4 TEMPERATURE AND 2 OR 3 PRESSURE LEVELS. SIMILAR CYCLES WERE COMPARED IN THE SAME TEMPERATURE RANGE WITH REGARD TO THE COP, EXERGY EFFICIENCY FOR AMMONIA-WATER AND WATER-LITHIUM BROMIDE. CYCLES AND NUMERICAL RESULTS ARE PRESENTED AND A COMPUTER-AIDED ABSORPTION CYCLE DEVELOPMENT SYSTEM DESCRIBED.
