Development of a cryocar on the basis of liquid nitrogen.
Author(s) : BONDARENKO S. I., LEVIN A. Y. A., PYATAK A. I., et al.
Summary
The paper presents the results of the development of the first Ukrainian experimental model of an ecologically friendly car. As the working body, liquid nitrogen is stored in a car-borne accumulator. The power facility consists of cryogenic nitrogen accumulator, the evaporator-heat exchanger and pneumatic engine. The controlled gasification of the nitrogen is realized by heat exchange with an ambient air. As a result, the necessary temperature and pneumoengine output pressure are reached.
