Development of a highly efficient air-conditioning system for replacement with new refrigerant units.

Summary
This system is a new refrigerant (R407C) system for replacement of the outdoor unit and indoor units while using existing R22 refrigerant piping. In test run, the mineral oil in the used pipes is removed by gas-liquid two-phase refrigerant flow. During this time, a flow of low viscosity mineral oil is used to reduce the viscosity of mineral oil remaining in the pipe. The replacement system has high efficiency.
