Propane as refrigerant in a reversible split type air conditioner: performance comparison and environmental aspects.
Author(s) : ALOISI A.
Summary
Performance tests were conducted on a reversible split type air conditioner in order to compare cooling capacity, heating capacity and efficiency with refrigerants R22, R407C and R290. Considerations about the reduced environmental impact for units charged with R290 were made.
