Development of a new compression mechanism.
Author(s) : IIDA T., FUJIWARA T., OKUDA M., et al.
Summary
A new compression mechanism named "helical blade" has been tested and can be used in both users and environment friendly systems. The efficient and quiet compressor is basically a rotary and positive displacement type machine. The paper presents a compression mechanism, a theoretical analysis on the performance and a prototype model design and performance. Results of tests are given.
