Summary
In the paper, progress of the joint project involving Shanghai Jiaotong University and Shanghai EKCHAO, which aims to develop a CO2 automotive air conditioning system, is summarized. The discharge pressure and the internal heat exchanger are optimized. A wholly self-designed system is tested in the specially designed performance test rig. The capacity of the CO2 system reaches 4.5 kW.
