Development of ammonia compressors for heat pump applications.
[In Norwegian. / En norvégien.]
Author(s) : KORFITSEN E., CHRISTENSEN A.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The article present the Sabroe R717 compressor range, covering the same working area as R12 with regard to temperature and especially 40 bar compression. Thus ammonia is an attractive alternative in the traditional working area of R12 heat pumps. In the first article, the compressor construction is described, and in the second article, Norwegian 25 and 40 bar ammonia heat pumps are presented. A full English translation of both articles is available from International Refrigeration Library (Industrivej 9, 4160 Herlufmagle, Denmark).
