The research described in this thesis, presented for the degree of Doctor, concerns a heat transformer built up from simple, cheaply produceable components which also should be easy to adapt to all kinds of advanced mixture flows. The heat transformer is filled with a mixture that will supply a high COP. Extract of contents: description of the process; comparison of the absorption and resorption principle; choice of the working pair; test plant; dynamic simulation model; measurements on the test plant; model-measurement comparison; general conclusions.
