OSAKA GAS CO. LTD, DEVELOPED THE NEW TYPE OF LNG VAPORISER USING SEA WATER AS THE HEAT SOURCE. WITH THIS TECHNOLOGY, TWO COMMERCIAL POWER PLANT USING LNG REFRIGERATION WERE BUILT IN 1979 AND 1982 AT THE SEMBOKU II PLANT. THIS TECHNOLOGY UTILISES AN INTERMEDIARY FLUID BETWEEN THE LNG AND THE SEA WATER IN THE COLDEST ZONE.
