Summary
What kind of equation of state is available and how accurately thermodynamic calculation can be done by equations, are explained. Also discussed are: the necessary information and the time needed to develop an accurate thermodynamic equation of state for a single pure refrigerant. A FORTRAN program for calculating the thermodynamic properties of R134a is presented as an appendix (in English).
