Summary

THE DIELECTRIC CONSTANTS OF THE FOLLOWING REFRIGERANTS WERE MEASURED IN BOTH THE GASEOUS AND LIQUID PHASES: R113: 298.15-423.15 K, 0.1-17.3 MEGAPASCALS ; R114: 298.15-423.15 K, 0.2-17.2 MEGAPASCALS ; R114B2: 298. 15-423.15 K, 0.2-17.3 MEGAPASCALS ; R115: 298.15-373.15 K, 0.1-17.1 MEGAPASCALS ; R116: 283.15-373.15 K, 0.2-16.9 MEGAPASCALS ; R124: 273.15-373.15 K, 0.1-10.5 MEGAPASCALS. THE EFFECTS OF PRESSURE, TEMPERATURE, AND DENSITY ON THE DIELECTRIC CONSTANT AND THE MOLAR POLARIZATION DEFINED BY THE CLAUSIUS-MOSSOTTI RELATION ARE DISCUSSED IN TERM OF POLARITY OF MOLECULES OF EACH REFRIGERANT.
