Author(s) : BEN LAKHDAR M. A., BLAIN G., COMPINGT A., et al.

Summary

Field tests were made in French supermarkets since September 2000 with the following components: an ice slurry generator (50 kW) connected to a compressor pack containing R22 refrigerant; a storage tank (with a capacity of 6 m3), equipped with an agitator; a one pipe secondary loop which deserves four display cabinets and two cold rooms with ice slurry; a multiple-unit control system. The loop is instrumented with more than 70 sensors. An automatic data acquisition system was used to record the data. Selected test results are presented and discussed.
