Summary
Effective procedures in maintenance, especially disinfection for biological clean rooms (BCRs) are described in this paper. Uniform procedures are not available. In this paper, criteria on BCRs and fundamental methods for microbiological assessment are presented. Moreover, a case study is described with experiments on disinfection for a new BCR for tissue culture in a pharmaceutical company.
